Victim Support is the national charity for people affected by crime. It is a completely independent organisation, offering a free and confidential service, irrespective of whether or not a crime has been reported.

North Wales Police

North Wales Police are responsible for policing a large geographical area, which is home to approximately 657,000 people.

We cover large rural regions, busy towns, 2 cities and the Snowdonia National Park, all of which require very specific types of policing support. Clwyd Justices' Advisory Committee

The Clwyd Justices' Advisory Committee is responsible for the recruitment and training of magistrates. Administrative support is provided by Flintshire County Council's Democratic Services Section and this covers magistrates in Flintshire, Wrexham, Conwy and Denbighshire.

The Court Service

The purpose of the Court Service is the delivery of justice. The Agency is responsible for the running of most of the courts and tribunals in England & Wales i.e. Crown, County, Appeals, and provides the necessary services to the judiciary and court users to ensure its impartial and efficient operation. The Agency also has responsibility for advice to the Lord Chancellor on his responsibilities in relation to magistrates' courts although they remain a locally managed service as defined in statute.

Crimestoppers Trust, set up in 1988 is the only UK charity aimed at putting criminals behind bars through an anonymous Freephone number: 0800 555 111.
