West Wheels - Community Transport in West Wrexham

What is West Wheels?

West Wheels is a 12 month pilot Community Transport pilot scheme (1st April 2008- 31st March 2009) which provides a door to door service for anyone living in any of the locations listed below:

Who can use West Wheels?

Anyone who lives in the West Wrexham area (a full list of locations can be found under the ‘What is West Wheels? section).

If you are a member of a community/voluntary group or organisation operating within the area and require transport please contact us at West Wheels and we will do our best to meet your needs.

How do I join?

By completing a West Wheels Membership form (see below) and returning to

West Wheels is available 7 days a week between the hours of 8.30am and 10pm

The service is operated in certain locations on specific days

How Much does it cost?

Annual Membership costs £2.00 per person per year (1st April- 31st March)

Fares are £1 per single journey within one village listed (e.g Coedpoeth to Coedpoeth) or £2 per single journey to travel between more than one village listed (e.g Coedpoeth to Llay).

How do I book?

Bookings are taken on a first come first served basis and can be made upto seven days in advance

West Wheels has been developed in conjunction with local residents.

Funding for West Wheels has been provided by the Economic Development Department of Wrexham County Borough Council.
