Penalty Charge Notices (PCN's)

Civil Enforcement Officers employed by the Council patrol on the streets across the County Borough and the Council’s town centre car parks. The Civil Enforcement Officers will issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCN’s) to drivers of vehicles who have parked in contravention of any regulations in force at the time. This will be for on and off street contravention’s.

The Police will still issue Fixed Penalty Notices to drivers whose vehicles are obstructing the streets. All other parking, loading and waiting offences will come under the remit of the Council’s Civil Enforcement Officers.

If you have received a Penalty Charge Notice - please do not ignore it.
