The Wrexham Tourism Forum (WTF) was created in 2001 to promote the development of the Tourism Industry within Wrexham County Borough with the aim of increasing the area's visitor potential, encouraging job creation and generating income. The Forum is intended to promote and maintain liaison and consultation with the public, relevant statutory bodies, the County Borough Council and the travel trade operators.
Membership is open to all tourism related organisations in the area and secretarial support is provided by Wrexham County Borough Council. A steering group of member organisations was established in 2005 to implement the Integrated Quality Management (IQM) Action Plan to raise the overall standard of the tourism offer across the County Borough. Meetings remain open to all tourism trade operators.
