The North Wales Borderlands

The North Wales Borderlands is situated between the historic English city of Chester to the east and the dramatic Snowdonia National Park to the west, making it an area of intriguing contrasts. Not only a fascinating destination in its own right but also a great touring base for exploring the range of attractions and activities in the area - perfect for a short break or holiday offering something for everyone.

As its name suggests, the North Wales Borderlands is culturally, and delightfully, Welsh, but also strongly influenced by its proximity to England.

To make the most of your visit to the North Wales Borderlands, we have a suite of print that highlights all the delights of the area:

  • The North Wales Borderlands - A break with tradition (Main Guide)
  • Attractions
  • Countryside Activities
  • Castles
  • Sacred Places
  • Golf
  • Walking
