The town is great whether you fancy a night dancing or just a drink with friends. With a wealth of quality restaurants ranging from Chinese, Italian, Indian, or Thai, to excellent bars serving the more traditional menu, there is choice to suit all tastes.
Night Clubs
The town is fast forging a reputation as the night-club capital of the region, and Wrexham's many and varied nightclubs include some excellent places for a great night out - there really is something to suit everyone! Liquid and Envy on Brook Street are two nightclubs under one roof, each one catering for a different crowd with a smart dress code. Both feature regular DJ nights and since opening, Liquid and Envy have proved extremely popular and received some really good reviews from regulars and newcomers alike. Scott's Nightclub on Brook Street is Wrexham's longest established nightclub offering a great night out in a busy, friendly atmosphere, with numerous floors and bars featuring many different music styles. Big-name bands perform at Yales Café Bar, which is also the venue for regular comedy nights, and Central Station was voted Wales' leading live music venue by The Independent and Kerrang.
New Centenary and Executive Club at the Racecourse Stadium on Mold Road has a students' night on Thursdays and a Rock night on Saturdays, and Club K1 on Bridge Street offers a fun night out for a younger crowd, including nights for under 18s.
Classic
For those who enjoy a more classic musical experience, the William Aston Hall on the NEWI campus hosts a variety of concert performances including the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the Hallé, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Welsh National Opera.
Theatre
The newly refurbished state of the art Theatr Stiwt Theatre hosts a wide variety of creative music and dramatic performances, and doubles as a centre of Welsh culture, featuring arts, crafts and recreational events. The Grove Park Theatre and Wrexhams' Studio Theatre at Yale College features regular dance and drama performances and successful local amateur dramatic companies can be seen at the Riverside.

Eating Out
Visitors to Wrexham will never go hungry! The town is home to many excellent places to dine out, offering a good choice of food styles including modern British, Italian, Chinese and Thai. Wrexham has some great town pubs with a traditional atmosphere, many of which offer locally brewed beers. The surrounding area features many old-fashioned village and country pubs set in picturesque locations, some with excellent beer gardens and play areas, and all ideal places to enjoy a leisurely Sunday roast with the family.
