Wrexham County Borough not only has a rich variety of plants, animals, birds and fungi, but also a range of habitats such as woods, meadows, hedges and ponds. This is our local biodiversity, which is an important part of our environment and heritage. To conserve and enhance the local biodiversity, the Wrexham Biodiversity Action Plan was published in March 2002.
