Apply for a Disabled Persons Railcard - via Directgov

The Disabled Persons Railcard allows you to buy rail tickets at reduced rates for a 12 month period. If another adult is travelling with you, they can also travel at the same discounted fare. Children aged from five and under 16 may also be eligible for a Disabled Persons Railcard.

Apply for Attendance Allowance - via Directgov

Attendance Allowance is a benefit for people aged 65 or over who have an illness or disability and need help with personal care.

Apply for Disability Living Allowance - via Directgov

Disability Living Allowance (DLA) is a benefit you can get if you need help getting around and/or looking after yourself because you are ill, disabled or terminally ill. You can also claim Disability Living Allowance for an ill or disabled child.

Apply for Incapacity Benefit - via Directgov

If you can't work because of illness or disability you may be able to get Incapacity Benefit (IB), a weekly payment for people under State Pension age.

Claim Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit - via Directgov

Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (IIDB) is for people who are disabled because of an accident at work or who are ill or disabled as a result of a disease or deafness caused by work.
