The Cabinet Office's role is to support the Government's delivery and reform programme.

Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS)

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport has policy responsibility for museums, galleries and libraries, the built heritage, the arts, sport, education, broadcasting and the media and tourism, as well as the creative industries, the Millennium and the National Lottery.

Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF)

Her Majesty's Treasury

The Treasury is the department responsible for formulating and putting into effect the UK Government's financial and economic policy.

The Home Office is the Government department responsible for internal affairs in England and Wales. The purpose of the Home Office is to work with individuals and communities to build a safe, just and tolerant society enhancing opportunities for all and in which rights and responsibilities go hand in hand, and the protection and security of the public are maintained and enhanced.

Department for Constitutional Affairs (DCA)

The Department for Constitutional Affairs (DCA) is responsible in government for upholding justice, rights and democracy.

Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM)

The ODPM's aim is to create prosperous, inclusive and sustainable communities for the 21st century, places where people want to live, that promote opportunity and a better quality of life for all. Responsibilities for local and regional government, housing, planning, fire, regeneration, social exclusion and neighbourhood renewal put the Office at the heart of the Government's ambition to create sustainable communities for all.
