On 31 October 2007, Wrexham County Borough Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the Public Footpath described in Part 1 of the Schedule to this Notice to a line described in Part 2 of the Schedule to this Notice.

Llangollen Rural 114

The County Borough of Wrexham (Unrecorded Public Footpath in the Community of Llangollen Rural) Public Path Diversion Order 2008

The above Order, made on 25th September 2008, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the Public Footpath described in Part 1 of the Schedule to this Notice to a line described in Part 2 of the Schedule to this Notice.

A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen at the Guildhall, Wrexham and the Post Office, Holyhead Road, Froncysyllte, Llangollen, LL20 7RA during normal office/opening hours. Copies of the Order and map may be obtained free of charge at the Guildhall, Wrexham.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Chief Legal and Democratic Services Officer Wrexham County Borough Council, Guildhall, Wrexham, LL11 1AY not later than 31st October 2008. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

The County Borough of Wrexham (Public Footpath No 53 in the Community of Cefn) Public Path Diversion Order 2005

On 12 December 2007, Wrexham County Borough Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the Public Footpath described in Part 1 of the Schedule to this Notice to a line described in Part 2 of the Schedule to this Notice.

A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Guildhall, Wrexham and the Post Office, 4 Woodlands Walk, Plas Madoc, Acrefair during normal office/opening hours.  Copies of the Order and map may be obtained free of charge from the Guildhall, Wrexham.

The Order comes into force on 13 December 2007 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 13 December 2007 make an application to the High Court.

The County Borough of Wrexham (Public Footpath No 29 (Part) in the Community of Rossett (Formerly Allington))

On 30 day of August 2006 the Wrexham County Borough Council confirmed the above named Order made under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to extinguish that part of public footpath no. 29 in the Community of Rossett (formerly Allington) in the County Borough of Wrexham from the junction of paths in the yard of Hem House Farm at grid reference 33886 35571 in a generally east-northeasterly direction for a distance of approximately 166 metres to the end of Cow Lane at grid reference 33901 35576 of undetermined width as shown by a bold black line between points B-C as shown on the map attached to this Notice.

4. Definitive Map Modification Orders

Broughton 53

Notice of Confirmation of Order for Broughton 53.

The above named Order, made on 12th day of December 2007 under Section 53 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 was confirmed without modification by Wrexham County Borough Council on 23rd April 2008.

The effect of the Order is to modify the definitive map and statement by adding the path or way described in the Schedule below.

A copy of the confirmed Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Guildhall, Wrexham and at the Post Office, 49 Hill Street, Pentre Broughton from 9.00am to 4.30pm Mondays to Fridays.  Copies of the Order and map may be obtained free of charge from the Guildhall, Wrexham.

Schedule

Description of path or way to be added: A public footpath, that is a path over which the public have a right of way on foot only, from public footpath no. 51 at grid reference SJ 30740 52750 via the enclosed path in a generally northerly direction for a distance of 82 metres to the end of the enclosed track at grid reference SJ 30723 52829, then in a generally northeasterly direction for a distance of 28 metres to Hill Street at grid reference SJ 30743 52849, a total length of 110 metres as shown by the broken black line between points A, B and C on the attached map.

The width of the path is between 0.83 metres and 1.55 metres between points A and B, and between 3.90 metres and 5.52 metres between points B and C.

Brymbo 111

Notice of Making of Order for Brymbo 111.

The above Order made on 11 November 2009, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding to them the footpath from Furnace Road at grid reference SJ3032 5525 to meet the junction with Gwersyllt Footpath Numbers 35 and 43 at the community boundary at grid reference SJ3048 5506.

A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the office of Wrexham County Borough Council, Guildhall, Wrexham and Brymbo Post Office, Kirkham House, High Street, Brymbo, LL11 5BL from 9 am to 4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the Order and map may be obtained free of charge.

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to Chief Legal and Democratic Services Officer, Wrexham County Borough Council, Guildhall, Wrexham LL11 1AY, not later than 31 December 2009, and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made. 

If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Wrexham County Borough Council, instead of submitting the Order to the National Assembly for Wales may itself confirm the Order.  If the Order is submitted to the National Assembly for Wales any representations or objections which have been duly made are not withdrawn will be sent with it.

Wrexham County Borough Council (Llangollen Rural 114) Definitive Map Modification Order 2008.

The above-named Order made on the 11 day of June 2008 under Section 53 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 was confirmed without modification by Wrexham County Borough Council on 4 March 2009.

The effect of the Order, is to modify the definitive map and statement by adding the path or way described in the Schedule below.

A copy of the confirmed Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the office of the Chief Legal and Democratic Services Officer, Guildhall, Wrexham and at the Post Office, Holyhead Road, Froncysyllte, Llangollen from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be obtained free of charge.

Minera 29

Definitive Map Modification Order to delete Public Footpath Number 29 in the community of Minera.

The above Order made on 30 day of April 2008, if confirmed as made will  modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by deleting from them the footpath from Wern Road (B5426) at grid reference SJ 2692 5157 in a generally north-easterly direction for approximately 105 metres to cross the River Clywedog at grid reference SJ 2699 5166, then in a generally north and north-westerly direction for approximately 50 metres to Wern Road (B5426) at grid reference SJ 2698 5170, as described in the Schedule below.

A copy of the Order and Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Guildhall, Wrexham and Post Office, 7 High Street, Coedpoeth and Post Office 4, Ruthin Road, Bwlchgwyn from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays.  Copies of the Order and map may be obtained free of charge from the Guildhall, Wrexham.

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Chief Legal and Democratic Services Officer, Wrexham County Borough Council, Guildhall, Wrexham, LL11 1AY not later than 18 June 2008, and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made. 

If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Wrexham County Borough Council, instead of submitting the Order to the National Assembly for Wales may itself confirm the Order.  If the Order is submitted to the National Assembly for Wales, any representation or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.

Penycae 53

Definitive Map Modification Order to add a Public Footpath in the Community of Penycae from Plas Bennion Road.

The above named order, made on the fourth day of June 2008 under Section 53 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 was confirmed with modification by an Inspector of the Welsh Assembly on 13 October 2009. 

The effect of the Order, is to modify the definitive map and statement by adding the path or way described in the Schedule below.

A copy of the confirmed Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Office of Wrexham County Borough Council, The Guildhall, Wrexham, LL11 1AY and at The Post Office, Hall Street, Penycae, Wrexham, LL14 2RU from 9.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.  Copies of the Order and map may be obtained free of charge.

5. Traffic Regulation Orders and Notices

Broughton 36

Notice of Temporary (Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order 2010 at Public Footpath No 36 (Part) in the Community of Broughton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 9 June 2010 to make an Order which will prohibit any person from proceeding in that part of public footpath No 36  in the Community of Broughton in the County Borough of Wrexham from the end of the track sometimes known as Gatewen Lane from grid reference SJ3143 5160 in a northwesterly direction for a distance of approximately 155 metres to the disused railway line at grid reference SJ3131 5168, as shown by a bold red line between points A and B on the map attached to this Notice. 

The reason for the closure is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath and because of the likelihood of danger to the public in order to enable Bloor Homes North West Limited to undertake road and sewer infrastructure works. 

The alternative route available for pedestrians will be to proceed from the end of the track sometimes known as Gatewen Lane in a southwesterly direction for a a distance of approximately 12 metres to grid reference SJ3141 5160, then in a southeasterly direction for approximately 72 metres to grid reference SJ3145 5154, then in a southwesterly direction for approximately 72 meters to grid reference SJ3139 5151 and then in a northwesterly direction along the disused railway line for approximately 185 metres to join public footpath number 36 at grid reference SJ3131 5168, as shown by a bold broken green line between points A – C – D – E – B on the map attached to this Notice. 

The Order will come into force on 28 June 2010 and will continue in force for the duration of the works subject to a maximum period of six months.

Notice of Temporary (Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order 2010 at Public Footpath No. 22 (Part) in the Community of Rossett (formerly Allington) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14

Notice is hereby given that the Order made by Wrexham County Borough Council on 12 February 2010, the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from using that part of Public Footpath No. 22 in the Community of Rossett (formerly Allington) in the County Borough of Wrexham from Gamford Lane at grid reference SJ 3752 5769 in a west-southwesterly direction for a distance of approximately 210 metres to the rear of Darland School, Rossett at grid reference SJ 3737 5764 has been continued in force with the approval of the National Assembly for Wales up to and including 14 February 2011 or earlier, if the works in progress have been completed.

The alternative route available for pedestrians will be to proceed from Gamford Lane in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 40 metres, then in a west-southwesterly direction along the southern side of the field boundary of the playing field for approximately 120 metres to the footbridge then in a northwesterly direction along the footpath to join Public Footpath No. 22.
