In 2007, Wrexham was successful in achieving the Silver Merit award in the city category, and we hope in 2008 to build on this achievement, by again encouraging all sections of the community to create a cleaner, greener Wrexham, through lasting improvements to the environment.
The campaign focuses on:
- Making your environment greener through floral displays, permanent planting, landscaping and nature conservation.
- Encouraging shops and businesses to improve their premises and support the campaign through sponsorship.
- Improving cleanliness through litter and graffiti removal, cleaning up vandalism and encouraging everyone to recycle.
- Encouraging residents to improve their own gardens.
