Now Residents Can Change More than Just the Channel

A BRAND new free digital television service for Wrexham has been officially launched today. It is the first interactive local authority digital TV service in Wales that provides an easy way for residents to get local information, advice and services through their TV.

Reducing the risk for a safe bonfire night

Agencies from Wrexham Community Safety Partnership are working together to reduce the risk of fire and arson during the period leading up to Bonfire Night. Wrexham Council will remove all bonfires built on public land before the 3rd November and will also remove bonfires built after that date if Police or the Fire Service think they pose a risk.

New "Country Walks Around Wrexham" on Website

Another three refurbished walk guides are now live on the www.wrexham.gov.uk/walks website. The walks start from Coedpoeth, Bwlchgwyn and Rhosllanerchrugog and vary between 4 and 6 miles long. The guides offer easy walking and provide a wealth of information about the history and wildlife of the area.

Wrexham County Borough Council is to enter into a national health and safety partnership scheme with Total Fitness UK Ltd, a leading operator of Health and Fitness centres within the North West.
