Applications Invited for the Welsh Church Acts Fund

Last September the Council awarded grants totalling £8,541 from The Welsh Church Acts Fund. These grants were awarded to 22 organisations seeking assistance for the cost of equipment or specific projects such as renovation works.

Wrexham Football Club

Wrexham Council's Executive Board has today confirmed that it will offer a short term loan funding support to the consortium led by Mr Neville Dickens and Mr Geoff Moss, to underpin their bid to acquire the Club and the stadium and to move it out of Administration.

Cyfle School girl mums' unit receives full marks in Inspection Report

Cyfle Wrexham (the LEA funded educational unit for pregnant and parenting school-girls) was recently inspected under ESTYN’s new framework. We are delighted to announce that the team of inspectors found Cyfle to be well run, providing an excellent service to its pupils and extremely good value for money. Cyfle gained top grades in all aspects of the service that were inspected.
