Easter Play Event in Wrexham Town Centre

Play Wrexham will be hosting an Easter play event on Queen's Square from 12.00 pm till 4 pm on 2nd April 2008.

Using the theme "Everyone Can Play" a variety of play organisations will come together to provide open access play provision on the Square. Play opportunities on offer will include den making, bush craft, bike races, bubble tents, junk modelling, smoothie making and many more. The theme highlights the need to encourage all children and young people and their families to feel confident about accessing inclusive quality play provision within their local communities.

Mike Barclay, Play Development Co-ordinator at Wrexham County Borough Council , said:

"The aim of this event is to show that disabled and non-disabled children and young people can, will and should play together. We want to promote inclusive play environments that offer exciting and stimulating play opportunities for all children and young people in their communities."
