Do You Care about our Children and Young People? Then have your say
People of all ages living in the County Borough are being encouraged to give their views and influence a three-year plan to improve services for children and young people.
The Children and Young People’s Plan will outline what the Council and its Partners will do in the future for the benefit of children, young people and their families. It is currently being drafted by the Children and Young People's Framework Partnership and they are keen to hear from anyone including children and young people themselves, their parents or carers or people who work with children and young people. The comments and views received will influence the draft plan which will be prepared and sent out for comments in April. The final plan will be available in the Autumn.
Cllr David Bithell, Lead Member for Children and Young People, said:
"It is important that everyone has the opportunity to make their views known before the final draft is produced. The Children and Young People’s Plan will be an important document in influencing services to children and young people and it will set out clearly what we intend to achieve together."
The consultation is available on Wrexham Council's website at www.wrexham.gov.uk/cypp and the young people's website www.youngwrexham.co.uk.
Comments should be returned to Ty Henblas, Queen's Square, Wrexham LL13 8AZ or by e-mailing CYPconsult07@wrexham.gov.uk or, for more information contact cypconsult@wrexham.gov.uk
