School Girl mums deliver excellent results

Cyfle is delighted to announce that all of our pupils who we entered for GCSEs achieved at least 5 passes each. One of our pupils (Allanah Wright of Queen's Park) achieved 8 full GCSEs three of which were at C grade.

Allanah (mum to Lee 2yrs old) said that she was "really made up" with her results and plans to go on to study for further qualifications in business administration in the future.

Another pupil, Toni Harry of Caia Park was also delighted with her five GCSE grades after having sat four of her exam papers in hospital within hours of giving birth.

Another Year 10 pupil from Garden Village also acheived a GCSE in RE a year early.

Our congratulations also go out to one of our former pupils, Zoe Davies of Coedpoeth, who has been awarded a university place to study for a degree in psychology following completing her A Levels at Yale College.

Teresa Foster Evans, Teacher in Charge at Cyfle, said that she was truly delighted with the results which underline once again the fact that pregnancy should not mean the end of a girl's education.

"Congratulations to all our pupils on their success and thanks to the staff for their hard work."
