New Climbing Wall and Games Area at Plas Madoc!
Plas Madoc Leisure Centre has two new facilities on offer, thanks to a funding partnership between Wrexham County Borough Council, the Sports Council for Wales and its SPORTLOT Community Investment Programme and Plas Madoc Communities First.
The Centre now boasts a superb climbing wall for that ultimate climbing experience, suitable for both beginners and experienced climbers. The Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) located to the rear of the Centre is an ideal area for a variety of outdoor sports.
The Centre is holding an Open Day on Wednesday 27th October , between 10am - 7pm for everyone to call in and see the new facilities. If you would like to have a go at climbing, please telephone the Centre in advance of the Open Day on 01978 821600 to book your place.
The climbing wall is available for bookings for experienced climbers from Monday 1st November. Interested in instructing? A FREE course to become a climbing wall instructor is now available. Please telephone Kevin on 01978 814704 for more details.
The floodlit Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) is also now available to hire - ideal for football, netball, basketball and tennis. It is available to hire Monday - Friday between 5.30pm - 9.30pm. The price is £12 per hour.
