Two more acts top the bill at Wrexham
BBC Wales has announced that the final line-up of the BBC Children in Need concert in Wrexham, will now include dynamic live acts, Madness and Goldie Lookin Chain. They join the impressive line-up which includes Texas, Sugababes, Jo O'Meara, Fame Academy winner Alex Parks, local Rhyl boy Andy Scott-Lee, Steve Balsamo's hotly-tipped new band, The Storys and local Wrexham boys Fade2 for Party For Pudsey, on Friday, November 18.
Naughty Newport lads Goldie Lookin Chain are already planning to take the Wrexham stage by storm, in more ways than one, and are looking forward to taking part in their first BBC Children in Need event.
"We are really excited to be taking part in a worthwhile event such as Children In Need," the boys said. "Not only can we raise awareness for a brilliant cause, but we get the chance to out-drink the whole of Madness, and if we're really lucky, we can spy on the Sugababes in their dressing room - all of this, and in Wrexham as well. We cannot wait."
All tickets for the event have now gone, with BBC Wales getting a record number of calls for the free tickets.
"We realise that some people have been disappointed not to get tickets, and we apologise to those who tried but couldn't get through. This was due to the sheer number of calls received," says David Cartwright, Head of Press, BBC Wales. "But no-one has to lose out on the excitement of the concert, as it will be broadcast live on BBC One Wales and BBC Radio Wales."
