Free - Caravan Weight Check - Get the Balance Right
Following the success of last years event Wrexham County Borough Council Trading Standards Service is again organising a FREE advisory caravan weight check.
This check will take place on the weighbridge at the Trading Standards Office, Ruthin Road, Wrexham (on the same site as the Ambulance Station) on the following dates.
Thursday 6 April 2006 - 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
Friday 7 April 2006 - 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
Saturday 8 April 2006 – 10.00 am – 1.00 pm
The emphasis on the day will be education rather than law enforcement with advice being given on caravan safety and the importance of weight and load distribution.
With the prospect of warm summer weather and the approaching school holiday period this will give local caravanners the ideal opportunity to ensure that caravans which may not have turned a wheel for some months, are safe for the journey ahead.
