 Calling all children and young people in Wrexham
Children and Young People have got until Friday 3rd November to get their competition entries in for a chance to win some of the amazing prizes on offer in Wrexham County Borough Council’s new magazines for children and young people.
Every school pupil in Wrexham County Borough should already have received either a copy of the Children’s Connect magazine (age 4-11) or the Young People’s Connect (age 11-18).
The bright and funky magazines have been developed following the creation of a new Children and Young People Service for Wrexham put in place to ensure that services affecting young people living in the County Borough are easily accessible to them. They are based on the Council’s own “Connect” magazine that is delivered to Wrexham residents.
Both magazines contain a mix of informative articles and competitions, including the chance to win a bike, a one month pass to Pure Energy at Queensway, the opportunity for 3 lucky winners to cut a CD of their favourite karaoke song, Odeon tickets, colouring sets, a family swimming pass, and two prizes of a free abseiling or canoeing lesson at Nantyr for the winner and a friend.
