Avian Flu
Following confirmation of the recent outbreak of Avian Flu in Conwy, Wrexham Council would like to inform residents that it is in close contact with colleagues in Conwy and has been keeping a careful watch on developments.
Currently there are no implications for anyone in the County Borough, however, if local poultry keepers have any concerns we recommend they visit the DEFRA website on www.defra.gov.uk, which gives clear and detailed information about Avian Flu, or contact them on 08459 33 55 77.
