Artz @ Response Exhibition
An exhibition of art created by young people normally excluded from mainstream provision due to their homelessness or substance use issues, goes on public display from 26th May at the Victoria Young People's Centre in Wrexham.
The work is the result of a 6 month project organised by Wrexham Youth Service Response, a young peoples drug and alcohol service and has been funded by the Arts Council of Wales.
The project enabled young people to engage in creative arts activities and provides a thought provoking and insightful experience for viewers relating to the issues of young peoples drug use and homelessness.
A variety of mediums have been experimented with including, photography, digital storytelling, poetry and painting and the finished pieces display a huge range of talent.
The exhibition will be open to the public following a private viewing on the 26th May all week between 1pm and 4pm. Please feel free to come along and be thoughtfully challenged.
