Arts Festival Programme now Available

There isn’t long to wait before this year’s Wrexham Arts Festival gets under way! The 2006 Festival is packed with over 70 events running from 19th May–5th June, in various locations throughout the County Borough.

Highlights of the Festival include the Hallé Orchestra, Carlson Dance Company Workshop and Performance, An Evening with Author Jasper Fforde, a Salsa Dance Social and a Jive Dance Masquerade Ball.

There are lots of events for children too, including arts & crafts sessions, storytelling, drama days, toy workshops and loads more!

Alan Watkin, Chief Leisure, Libraries & Culture Officer says, “I hope you will agree the Arts Festival programme is extremely varied this year with something for all ages and tastes and many of the events are free! The Hallé Orchestra, Carlson Dance Company Performance and the Victorian Toy Theatre Workshop are definitely events not to be missed this year!”

The Festival programme is available now from local libraries, leisure centres and tourist information centres or you can visit our website at www.wrexham.gov.uk.
