Successful Partnership Working Brings Affordable Homes to Rhostyllen
Working in partnership with Wrexham County Borough Council and Cllr Mark Pritchard, local member for Esclusham, the Pennaf Housing Group is delighted to announce that work has now started on site at the Britannia Depot in Rhostyllen with the demolition of the Council’s former Maintenance Depot
Pennaf Housing Group Chief Executive, Graham Worthington comments: “The regeneration of existing communities continues to be an important area of work for the Pennaf Housing Group. The Britannia Depot will be re-developed and will provide 14 units of much needed affordable housing for local people, providing a further testament to the success of the Group’s partnership working with Wrexham County Borough Council”.
Cllr Mark Pritchard, Local Member for Esclusham, said:
“I am delighted that much needed affordable housing scheme has at last been agreed for Esclusham. There has been a considerable amount of hard work and determination involved in the process by all involved. I would especially like to thank David Tonks, Principal Housing Officer and Wrexham Council’s Legal Department. I am now very happy for this development to proceed as these schemes are needed in the area to allow local people to get on the property ladder who otherwise would find it impossible to own their own homes.”
