Homeless - Or Fear You May Be In The Future?

Under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996 (incorporating the Homelessness Act 2002 and Homeless Persons (Priority Need)(Wales) Order 2001) Wrexham County Borough Council has certain responsibilities towards people who are either homeless or threatened with homelessness. Are you:

  • Experiencing violence that is forcing you to leave?
  • Sleeping on the floor of a friend’s room?
  • About to lose your home?
  • Sleeping in a hostel?
  • Sleeping Rough?

Wrexham County Borough Council’s Homelessness Service may be able to help.

If you are homeless, or soon to be homeless, the Council is required by law to make a number of enquiries about your situation.  We may be able to prevent you from becoming homeless, or help you if you are homeless.
