Technology With Support in the Community

An initiative to use Smart Technology to enable people with mental health problems to remain in their homes for a longer period of time by identifying potentially dangerous situations and automatically notifying an agreed respondent. The scheme involves a partnership with the Council, NHS Local Health Board, Alzheimers Society and private sector manufacturers.

Policy

A non-means tested 100% grant available to the applicant to a maximum value of £2,500 to all tenures with no age limit.

Eligibility

A referral by the Community Mental Health Team from the North East Wales Trust for people being assessed who have signs and symptoms of dementia, and other forms of mental health issues.
