Can't find what you're looking for?

All our libraries stock items which reflect the interests of the community. However, if you can't find what you are looking for on the shelves we can reserve it for you and let you know when it is available. We can obtain most books for you - some will be purchased specially for our library stock and others will be obtained from other libraries in the UK.

All items in stock in any of our other libraries can be obtained for you free of charge. If we do not have the items you want, some will be purchased especially for our library stock and if you are an adult, this will only cost you £1.20. If you are under 16 it is free. Others may be obtained from other libraries in the UK, and this will cost you £2.

You can request books, CDs, talking books, large print books, open learning packs, language courses and videos. We can also obtain journal articles and orchestral scores - please ask at your library for cost details.
